Become a Master Gardener
The Clemson Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer training program administered by the Clemson University Cooperative Extension Service. Introduced in Charleston County in 1981, the Master Gardener program is now offered over most of the state.
The mission of the Clemson Extension Master Gardener Program is to select, train, and utilize knowledgeable volunteers to facilitate the educational work of the local Consumer Horticulture Agent, by delivering research-based information to citizens of the state.
Eleventh Edition of Master Gardener Almanac for Aiken and Vicinity
Available to the public now
The updated and completely revised Eleventh Edition of Master Gardener Almanac for Aiken and Vicinity is now available and will sell for $20 to the public.
It will be sold at the Aiken County Agriculture Building at 1555 Richland Avenue East, Suite 500.
It will also be sold at the Farmers Market at Richland and Williamsburg Streets on the first, second and third Saturdays of each month when the Master Gardeners are present (April through October).
The almanac is also available at the monthly Lunchbox Lecture Series at Millbrook Baptist Church Church, 223 South Aiken Blvd., Aiken (parking in the lot between Kennedy Middle School and the church).
The 11th edition is completely revised to include the most up to date information as possible.
